Private Commissions
I accept a limited number of commissions throughout the year.
My commissioned work includes expressive landscapes and portraits, created with an intuitive, painterly approach rather than exact illustration.
Commissions are best suited to those who feel drawn to my existing work and are open to allowing a painting to develop naturally.
How Commissions Work
​Each commission begins with a short conversation about subject, size, and atmosphere. While we discuss broad parameters, the final painting is guided by the process itself.
I work slowly and intentionally, and I take on only a small number of commissions at a time.
Size & Pricing Guide
The prices below are a guide to help you decide whether a commission feels like the right fit.
Small Works

Large Works
(statement paintings)

Approx. 100 × 120 cm and above

Medium Works
(most commissioned pieces)

Approx. 50 × 60 cm to 70 × 90 cm
$1,400 – $2,400
Suitable for:

Works intended to live prominently in a space
Subject & Detail Considerations
Landscapes generally fall toward the lower end of each size range.
Portraits involve a higher level of focus and responsibility and may sit toward the upper end of the range.
Works requiring a high degree of likeness or fine facial detail may be priced slightly higher and are quoted individually.
Payment & Timing
A 50% deposit is required to secure your commission
The remaining 50% is due upon completion, prior to delivery
Timeframes vary depending on size and current workload; I will always confirm an estimated completion window before beginning
