A wedding gift from family & friends

Give the couple their wedding, painted as it happens.

Photos will show how their day looked. A painting shows how it felt. I paint a moment from their wedding live, at my easel among their guests, reveal it on the night, then finish it in my Melbourne studio.

What you’re giving

A gift their guests watch come to life.

Most wedding gifts are opened after the day. This one happens during it. I arrive early, set up discreetly and paint as the celebration unfolds. Guests love watching it grow, and the couple sees it revealed before the night is over.

  • An original painting of their wedding, painted by hand, never a print
  • Planned with the couple first, so it shows the moment, people and details they love
  • An unexpected delight their guests will talk about
  • A reveal on the night: a “3, 2, 1” in front of their guests, or a quiet unveiling just for the two of them
  • Finished and varnished in my studio, ready to pick up a few weeks later

Who gives it

A meaningful gift from family and friends.

For anyone who wants to give something lasting, not another thing from the registry:

  • Parents: a wedding gift for your daughter or son that hangs in their home
  • Grandparents: a keepsake to pass down through the family
  • Brothers and sisters: something far more personal than a gift card
  • The bridal party or a group of friends, chipping in together
“We gifted one of Olga’s amazing artworks to our sister and brother in law for their wedding. We cannot describe how absolutely amazing this piece of art is. (...) If anyone is thinking “is this worth it” the answer is a huge yes and Olga is the perfect person for the job!”
How gifting works

You book it. They help shape it.

You arrange the booking and I reply to you. Before the wedding I talk with the couple about what they love, so the painting is truly theirs.

01

Send me the date

Tell me the wedding date and venue. I check I’m free, reply to you personally and help you choose the size.

02

Choose the size and book

Once you’ve chosen the size, a 50% deposit secures the wedding date. Then let the couple know what’s coming.

03

I plan it with the couple

I talk with them about the moment they’d love painted, the people who matter, the little details and how the day will work. That’s what makes it theirs.

04

Painted live, revealed on the night

I paint as the celebration unfolds while guests watch, then reveal it to the couple. After studio finishing, it’s ready to pick up a few weeks later.

Questions about giving a wedding painting.

Can the painting be a surprise for the couple?

I plan every painting with the couple, and that’s what makes it theirs. Before the wedding we talk about what they love: the moment they’d like painted, the people who matter and the little details. The result is a painting they’ll treasure. If you’re hoping to keep it a surprise, contact me first and we can talk it through.

Will you deal with me or the couple?

Both. I reply to you to check the date and arrange the booking. Then I talk with the couple about the moment, people and details they’d love in their painting, so it’s made around them.

Can several of us give it together?

Yes. It works well as a gift from the bridal party, siblings or a group of friends. One person sends the enquiry and is my contact for the booking. How you share the cost is up to you.

How do I book the date?

Send me the wedding date. Once I’ve confirmed I’m free, I’ll help you choose the size, and a 50% deposit secures the date, as with every booking.
